Taco Whisperer

Nothing beats fresh and that goes for your seasonings as well.  Introducing The Taco Whisperer, Oak City Spice's premier seasoning to make taco night perfect.

This mix is ideal for 3/4 - 1 pound of fresh ground beef (80/20% or 85/15% fat preferred).

-Mix ground beef and contents of this packet and set aside.  Allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes.
-In a skillet sauté the onion & bell pepper (if using) until soft using a teaspoon of any neutral oil, garlic is a nice addition here too, then set aside - juices and all.
-Cook the ground  beef in the uncleaned skillet and simmer on low heat stirring occasionally.
-Once almost done, add the optional onions & peppers...now is a good time to add the jalapeno pepper, if using.
-Allow to simmer on low for approximately 20 minutes.
